Forest Planning Comment Workshop – Oct 22, 2019 in Taos, NM

Join fellow public land and wildlife advocates for a discussion on the Carson and Santa Fe National Forest management plans. Staff from the National Wildlife Federation, Amigos Bravos, Defenders of Wildlife and Trout Unlimited will be on hand to share what’s in these plans and how we can make improve them to strengthen protections for clean water and wildlife. The Forest Service is accepting public comments on the plans until Nov. 7th. This is a great opportunity to learn how to write effective comments and advocate for the issues you care about. Bring a laptop, smart phone, or pen and paper to generate a comment on the spot and enjoy free pizza and drinks.
